Currently, the minimum roll gap for ceramic twin-roll units is 10 microns, and the equipment can crush lumps as large as 1000 × 1000 mm. The ceramic twin-roll systems withstand temperatures up to 300°C, achieving a minimum particle size of D50 = 2.55 microns and guaranteeing a crushing purity of 7N (99.99999%).
